QA Engineer

About the role

We’re partnering with a growing software team to find a detail-driven QA Engineer who takes pride in shipping reliable, high-quality products. You’ll own the quality of features end to end — designing test strategies, building automated coverage, and working closely with developers and product to catch issues early and keep releases smooth.

What you’ll do

• Design, write, and maintain manual and automated test cases across web and API layers.
• Build and extend automated regression suites and integrate them into CI pipelines.
• Investigate, reproduce, and clearly document defects, then verify fixes through to release.
• Partner with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria early.
• Own release sign-off and continuously improve QA processes and tooling.

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years in a QA or test engineering role on web or mobile products.
• Solid grasp of testing fundamentals — test design, edge cases, and risk-based prioritisation.
• Hands-on experience with an automation framework (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Comfort writing and reading API tests and basic SQL queries.
• Clear written communication and a collaborative, ownership-minded approach.

Nice to have

• Exposure to CI/CD tools and version control workflows (Git).
• Experience with performance or security testing.
• A background in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
